Votekick is a feature that allows you to remove a player from the game for various reasons. To start a votekick, click on the "Votekick" menu button at the top of the screen, click on a player name, and then select the type of kick you want to use. A vote window will then pop up where other players must vote on whether to kick the selected player or not. If more than half the players choose "Yes", then the player will be removed from the game. If not, then no kick will be applied and there will be a cooldown period before the next kick can be used. Currently there are two types of votekicks: noob kick and standard kick.

Hunters and probe spirits are not able to start vote kicks, however they can still vote in them once a kick is started by a player who can.

Noob Kick[]

Noob kick is usually used on noobs and feeders when you want to stop them from ruining the game, but don't want them to be removed (disconnected) from the game. If a noob kick is successful, then the specified player will automatically lose his probe and buildings, and spawn as a probe spirit. Resources from the player will not be transferred or split among the remaining probes.

Note that noob kick can be used to spawn a probe spirit before the 5-minute mark. Players who are noob kicked will still gain points if probes win.

Standard Kick[]

Unlike noob kick, standard kick completely removes a player from the game by disconnecting him or her. It should be used on spammers, hackers, laggers and trolls who intentionally try to ruin a round and must be prevented from doing so. Players who are booted from the game with standard kick will lose points.

Restrictions[]

There are certain types and groups of players who cannot be removed from the game. If you open the vote kick menu and see that a player has a grayed out kick button, then it means that this player is immune from votekick.

  • KorvinGump -- The map developer cannot be kicked from the game. If you see a KorvinGump in your game and his kick icon is not grayed out, then he is an imposter and you should kick him.
  • Moderators -- This group is comprised on the moderators on the forums. You can recognize them from their purple and yellow names which stand for Moderator and Super Moderator, respectively.
  • Donators* -- Certain donators are immune from vote kick and cannot be noob kicked or standard kicked.
  • Donators used to receive vote kick immunity after donating money to the game. However, new donators will no   longer be given this privilege.
